David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful James Douglas, son and heir of the late John Douglas knight, the lands of Crunzierton, Mollin, Raehills and Minnygap (DMF), which were John of Corrie's, and which John resigned by staff and baton in the presence of the magnates of his realm at Dumfries; holding by James and his heirs or assigns in feu and heritage, as freely as John held it before his resignation, for one pair of gilt spurs in the name of blanchferme at Crunzierton on the feast of St John the Baptist if requested.
