Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Alexander of Cockburn, all the land of 'Bouryfelde', with tenancies, lands and renders, within and outwith the burgh of Haddington (ELO), which land belonged to John Lang, burgess of Edinburgh, which John resigned by staff and baton at Perth on 17 April AD 1361 in the presence of prelates and nobles of his kingdom; holding in feu and heritage, as freely as John held it, for service owed and wont.
