- David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a charter of Thomas, earl of Mar, his relative. [Charter of Earl Thomas to William Chalmers of the land of East Ruthven in Cromar in the earldom of Mar (ABD), dated 20 June 1356 at Kildrummy.] The king approves, ratifies and confirms this, saving his service.
