Cospatric the earl, brother of Dolfin, has granted and given to St Cuthbert and his monks (Durham Cathedral Priory) in alms, villa of Edrom (BWK) and church pertaining to that villa, for the souls of King Malcolm (III) and his sons Kings Edgar and Alexander, and for King David and his son Henry, and for himself and his wife and sons and all his family.
