Description
Walter son of Alan, steward of the King of Scotland, has given, granted and made firm by this his charter to Paisley Abbey, all renders in lands, mills, pastures, fisheries, and other goods, which he had conferred on the canons and nuns of the order of Sempringham (i.e., Dalmilling Priory), and which they later resigned of their own free will; to hold and to have in pure, free and perpetual alms, rendering annually 40 marks at Dryburgh Abbey to the aforesaid canons and nuns, or to their procurator.
